My favourite song in AD/BC, really catchy, despite/incl. the impressive-if-real falsetto ending by Julian. He’s singing rather nasally here, so duet partner + author Matt sounds warmer and deeper. Matt won me over! Doing the 70s in 2004.
Can you see the idiosyncratic gesture? Ju’s pulling his chin, nostrils, eyebrows and the corners of his mouth up and backwards, slightly self-conscious and questioning, not-really-a-double-take, not-really-a-shrug -> I’ve seen him do when trying out Rudi lines in front of Noel -> whom he is looking at here, too. That grin-shrug should of course be properly giffed by the usual suspects like here:
